The new Scared Emotion is great. It's awesome that the Sims team has at last added a much needed new emotion. However, new updates typically meaning have to update mods which can be quite bothersome. Many Sim players fill their games with mods, be it makeup, outfits, gameplay, or furniture mods.

Sometimes people tend to go a bit overboard their mods folder ends up taking up more storage than the actual game itself. This makes it so that a small update consumes a lot of time just to get the mods up and running again.

Players can easily spend hours upon hours playing with the same family in the Sims. But it's not unusual to just randomly create a new family and drop the other ones. Replacing one save file for another.

It's just incredibly fun to start from scratch (no matter how many times) and create a whole different story for new Sims. It sounds harsh but it's what the Sims is all about. Plus, the game can be endless and it's part of its nature to move on and create a new, more exciting save file.

1 Complex Storylines

It's perfectly normal for Simmers to get extremely sucked into their fictional family's lives. Bringing another digital baby into the world, getting remarried for the third time, or finishing a course, these can all be exciting moments for the player.

Unfortunately, those that aren't connected to the game won't really get it, though. So, explaining to family and friends everything that's happened with a Sim family can be a bit odd for them. But that's what the holidays are all about, dealing with family awkwardness and strange stories.

A: About 5 minutes to load it up and select a family. I love my biscuit tin (nickname for my computer - ’s probably better if you don’t ask, xD) <3.

A: I take my sims way too seriously to kill them. I put a little of myself in every sim I make, it’d be too painful to kill them. -tears up-
